- Legal Entity: Kanawaisland is operated by PT Juara Wisata Nusantara, a legally registered Perseroan Terbatas (Limited Liability Company) and a proud member of the Juara Holding Group.
- Tourism License (TDUP): We hold a valid Tanda Daftar Usaha Pariwisata (Tourism Business Registration Certificate) issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf), authorizing us to conduct tour and travel services.
- Tax Compliance (NPWP): Our company is registered with the Indonesian Directorate General of Taxes and holds a Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak (Taxpayer Identification Number), ensuring we contribute responsibly to the national economy.
- IATA Accreditation: We maintain an IATA (International Air Transport Association) TIDS number, ensuring seamless and compliant ticketing processes with international airline partners.
Marine & Land Operations Safety

- Vessel Certification & Safety: Every Phinisi and yacht in our curated fleet undergoes an annual safety audit. We verify that each vessel has a valid Surat Persetujuan Berlayar (Port Clearance), is in full compliance with Indonesian Sea and Coast Guard (KPLP) regulations, and is equipped with SOLAS-grade safety equipment, including life rafts, EPIRB satellite beacons, and ship-to-shore radios.
- Crew Qualifications: All captains and key crew members hold the required maritime certifications from the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation, such as ANKAPIN (Ahli Nautika Kapal Penangkap Ikan) and ATKAPIN. All our guides are certified in emergency first response.
- Dive Safety Standards: We partner exclusively with PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Centers. All diving activities are conducted with a conservative guide-to-guest ratio, and all dive boats are equipped with emergency oxygen and comprehensive first aid kits. We strongly recommend and can facilitate DAN (Divers Alert Network) insurance for all diving guests.
- Vehicle Fleet Management: Our fleet of land transport vehicles is modern, air-conditioned, and subject to a strict regular maintenance schedule. All vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking, and our drivers are professionally trained with impeccable safety records.
